![]() It's better to leave the option on the table because I can have been in games where one team or another made a huge point lead due to bombing early and kept it due to the bomb throwing off the team's coordination.Originally posted by Aya:I still think EXVS would've been the better pick for Gundam games on PC, but I already know what it'd take to get that ported over.Īnd I'm pretty sure that we got GBO2 due to how well Super Robot Wars 30 did, which in turn is a game from the same developers By that time your team could be wiped anyway. Why not plant the bomb? Even if your team wasn't wiped out, it'll be about 20 seconds before you arrive in your new MS anyway. Your suit is totaled (you ejected at last hit) and your team was wiped already. ![]() You seem to be confusing a bomb rush with bombing because you don't really have anything else you could be doing. I never want anybody to be so reckless and risk my rate on such a narrow chance. And mostly it doesn't, since lots understand wiping the opponents out multiple times grant more points than destroying the ship early. Yeah, your precious "RUSH MEDEA" tactics MIGHT work, some dummies MIGHT get distracted and your team MIGHT wipe them out. Then why should we let them have a chance to kill us all even once? Absolutely nonsense in ANY moment ![]() Besides, you'll waste the bonus multiplier if you rush the ship any too early. The more time getting wiped out, the less likely to reverse the situation. The less people confront the opponents, the more likely to get wiped out. Either way if your team is getting wiped it might not really help if you decide to assist with the team fights anyway. If they try to stop you they defuse the bomb but enemy is down 1-2 players for a while (or better you steal one of their suits so they're down one player a whole minute). If you are about to die near the enemy base why not emergency eject and drop into the enemy ship for a bomb plant. Originally posted by Mr.Kill:Eh it depends. I mean some of you guys probably don't even know why people are rotating right, a good example of a map that can be lost really fast because of this behavior is Jungle. the timing of the base bomb is still extra points provided the situation is ripe for it. Stop blanket statement things as being bad or good, there is a time and place for emergency ejection, support fire and bombing. If you find your entire team at the enemy base and its early its retarded NOT to bomb the base, I wrote the exceptions and what could happen (often it does) if i stand and fight then I die all the same but often its better to try and do some damage on the way out then to fail to catch up to the forward gear only team mates. Rotating hard right like this occurs quite often its only a real big problem if you have slow supports on your side since they will be peeled automagically and as a slow support I absolutely hate when raids and generals boost away to rotating hard which then forces me to run the entire opening portion of the match in a futile attempt to catch up to them. if one team bombs your base and you don't bomb theirs you are down points to begin the match before the initial fight and you run the risk of not capitalizing on the open bombing of the enemy base. while i agree that its stupid at the start (to not form a frontline) it is not stupid if both sides have rotated around. ![]() You didn't read what I said, if both teams rotate right then you are both at each others bases.
